For Jesse
My friend Jesse complained that I haven’t posted in awhile. So, out of guilt to my one reader, here is an update.
I’ve discovered http://www.lulu.com/ . They publish on demand for writers who can’t get a contract with a real publisher. So, much of the stuff they have is complete crap. But some of it is kinda interesting. I am going to buy “How to Cook a Peacock” myself.
Nutjob, the principal of my son’s old school, has decided that she wants to sue me for defamation of character. My initial thought was “Don’t you have to have character for it to be defamed?” I know what I’ve said is true. She may not like the truth…but it is what it is. I’m going to write more about that in the next couple of days. My lawyer has crafted a beautiful response to it. My lawyer also told me that it doesn’t matter if what I’ve said isn’t true…as long as I believe its true, its OK. And…emotional statements are OK. So…..Grace is full of shit has become my .sig on email that doesn’t go to the homeschool group. Like I said, I’ll write more. This journey into the US legal system has been interesting if nothing else.
My dad’s lung tumor has shrunk from 10.5 cm to 4.7cm. We’re happy :)
